C2 Centre for Craft

The Manitoba Crafts Museum and Library (MCML) and the Manitoba Craft Council (MCC) are excited to be joining forces to develop a new centre for craft, set to open in winter 2016. Located in a historic building in Winnipeg’s Exchange District, the 3,025 sq ft facility will include an exhibition gallery, shop, library, museum and programming space featuring the best of contemporary and historical craft this province has to offer.

Volunteer with Nuit Blanche

The Manitoba Craft Council is excited to be partnering with the Winnipeg Art Gallery and artist Brook Drabot to provide a glass workshop in celebration of Nuit Blanche 2016.

Nuit Blanche :: Saturday October 1, 6pm

We are looking for a few volunteers to assist with the workshop from 5:30 – 11pm. If you are interested in coming for the entire evening or would just like to assist for an hour or two, this is a great opportunity to share your passion for craft and culture – and skip the long lines!
